Congratulations
to the ST. MICHAEL'S PRIVATEERS for being the first
team to repeat as Farley Cup Champions.
Founded
in 1996, The National Strat-O-Matic Hockey League (NSHL)
is a play-by-email league using the Strat-O-Matic
game engine. Twenty-four teams will compete in the 2010-11
NSHL season, the league's 13th season.
Each
team plays 82 games over the course of a twenty-two
week season, with the top sixteen teams advancing to
the Farley Cup playoffs.
Home
owners play four games every two weeks, either by following
the road team's Computer Manager (CM) or by head-to-head
play over Net Meeting. League
files are centrally updated and can be found
here.
Owners also manage their team rosters, orchestrating
trades, free agent signings and draft picks. Each two-week
period begins and ends with the NSHL Newsletter.

Week
17/18 in review
Ten
games to go! Five teams have clinched postseason berths,
and only three teams have been eliminated from contention.
2011 NSHL Draft Central Scouting Top 20
1) F Taylor Hall, EDM - Reminds me alot of Patrick
Kane. Explosive skater who makes spectacular plays
look easy. He has superstar winger written all over
him.
2) F Jeff Skinner, CAR - When you can score and not
look out of place as an 18 year old, you are a special
player. Can play any forward position. Is not afraid
of the rough stuff. Has great hockey sense. I love
this kid, in a hockey way.
